Marketplace setup
Setting up your Affiliate and Marketplace area (Joomla Backend)
- Create a new menu via the menu manager in Joomla, you can also use your default menu.
- Create the following menu links, go to [new] - [Shirtnetwork].
- Affilate Registration / Affilate Area: Gives your Joomla users the possibility to become a affiliate of your Shirtnetwork shop.
- Affilate Configuration: Affiliate bank information and .css for shopping cart.
- Create marketplace items: Create your marketplace items and submit them to the marketplace.
- Submit logos: Affiliates can upload their own logos.
- Generate HTML code / Preview Designer: Shows your affiliate partners a screen where they can pick up the iframe code to embed their desiger into their page, the affiliates can also see a preview of their current shop.
- Affilate Commission overview: Shows your affiliate partner a screen where they can lookup their earned commisions.
- Shop Setup: Shows your affiliate partners a screen to assign products and logos to their own sub-shop.
- Your users must first register for a Joomla account, they can do this via the Affiliate registration link, fill in the form and press register.
- You can now login with your account. (if the New User Account Activation is set to active in your Joomla configuration you must first click the account activation link in your e-mail)
- Go to the Affiliate Registration link and Fill in your Shop URL and set your commision in %. When you fill in for example 10 all the prices are then increased with 10%. Make sure that you check I accept the terms of use.

- You can now setup your bank account information via the Affiliate configuration link. This information is needed so we can transfer your earned commission. You can also setup your imprint infromation, colors of your shopping cart tabs and you can override and set the css classes used in the cart that is displayed to your customers. NOTE: only for advanced use!

- Now you have to assign which products and logos you want to use in your partner sub-shop. Go to the shop setup link and start assigning them.
- Choose Products Choose Logos
- Go to Generate HTML code / preview designer link so you can watch the preview of your designer and you can copy the iframe code to embed the desiger into your webpage.

- Go to the Submit Logos link. You can Upload your own logo to the marketplace here. You can upload the following extensions *.jpg,*.ps,*.cdr,*.pdf,*.ai.
- Fill in your logo name, commission and type (public or private)
- Upload logo Submitted logo overview
- The submitted logo is now pending and can be approved or denied in the shirtnetwork component under User Logos.
- The shop owner gets the submitted logo per e-mail and can convert it to a vector file and export it to .swf format.
